From Albuquerque:
South on I-25 to the US 60 East/Bernardo/Mountainair exit (#175). East on US 60 about 40 miles to Mountainair. This route comes up the historic and scenic Abo Pass, into red rock country.
OR the other scenic route:
East from Albuquerque on I-40, to Tijeras. South on NM 337 through the mountains, to NM 55. Turn right (South) onto NM 55 and continue through the land grant villages of Tajique, Torréon, and Manzano. Mountainair is at the blinking light at the junction with US 60.
From Santa Fe:
North on I-25 to the US 285/Eldorado/Lamy exit (#290). South on US 285 to NM 41. Turn right and go south the entire length of NM 41, through the Galisteo basin, Moriarty, and Estancia. When NM 41 ends at US 60, turn right (West) and proceed about 12 miles to Mountainair.
